Becky Saunders
Founder & CEO / Board Member
Becky resides in Hamilton with her husband, Bruce, 3 of their 4 children, and 3 dogs! In 2018 she and her husband became certified foster parents in Loudoun County, and it was during that training, that she was moved to help these kids find some normalcy in their lives, and so "UpsideDown Moments" began. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, photography, and the beach.

Renee Boetticher
Community Engagement Specialist/ Board Member
Renee, along with her husband, daughter, two dogs, and cat, resides in Round Hill, Virginia. Having run her own business for 7 years, Renee brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our organization. She manages our social media, website, and much more, ensuring that we continue to provide support to those who need it most. Renee is passionate about assisting children in foster care and at-risk youth and believes the real effort of a few people can make big changes.

Theresa Fassig Normil
Secretary / Board Member / Seasonal Blessings Coordinator
Theresa, a proud resident of Aldie, VA, is a dedicated mother to a high school senior and sophomore, both of whom are rapidly growing up. She has a deep-seated passion for community service, instilled not only in herself but also in her children. Together, they have actively contributed to communities worldwide, from establishing a Parent-Teacher Association in Doha, Qatar, to providing foster care for dogs in need.

Adrianna Boyer
Advocacy Coordinator / Board Member
Adrianna lives in Sterling with her children Schueyler & Phoenix. She currently works for CACI as a Sales Administrator. She volunteers on a panel for future foster parents in training. Adrianna is a former foster youth; she was in care from the ages of 12-21. She hopes to share her experience, establish resources, and build skills to help others become independent after aging out of foster care.

Steve Gaitten
Website Guy (Interim Treasurer)
Steve has lived in Loudoun since 1997 when he moved here for a job at America Online. As the founder of the local website design firm, Loudoun Digital -- Steve provides comprehensive service and operational support for our website. Steve lends insights in technology and marketing to our strategic planning.

Deb Bayliss
Frederick County Liaison
Deb calls Winchester, Virginia her home, where she serves as the dedicated bookkeeper for an Elementary School. From UpsideDown Moments' start, she has played a crucial role as a dedicated volunteer, and she takes great pleasure in her involvement. In her free time, she enjoys time with family, thrift shopping, and a good book.

Marine Langreney
Operations & Volunteer Manager
Marine recently relocated to Leesburg from Boston and brings over 10 years of experience in travel operations and marketing. She is passionate about using her organizational, communication, and event planning skills to support volunteers dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of foster youth. In her free time she enjoys cooking, crafting, walking her dog with her husband, and playing tennis and roller derby.

Kaja Klemczak
Fundraiser Lead
Kaja has called Loudoun County home for the past five years and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management. Passionate about supporting community-driven initiatives, Kaja thrives on bringing people together to make a positive impact. With a strong background in organization and leadership, she enjoys helping to create memorable events that raise awareness and funds for meaningful causes. In her free time, Kaja loves traveling, exploring different cultures, and cherishing quality moments with her family.

Operations Support
Murali is originally from India and previously called New Jersey home. Recently, he relocated to Ashburn, Virginia, to pursue his career in technology. He firmly believes in being the change he wishes to see in the world and is passionate about giving back to the community and helping others. With a strong analytical mindset and technical expertise, he applies the same dedication and problem-solving approach in his Operational Support role at UDM. In his free time, he enjoys exploring new hobbies, learning, playing video games, and watching TV shows.
