Our volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization. Without them, we would not be able to provide the services that we do to those in need. We are immensely grateful for our volunteers who are always willing to lend a helping hand, whether it be sorting donations, picking up donations, arranging fundraisers, or volunteering at an event.

Fundraising Manager
Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children and young adults? UpsideDown Moments is looking for a dedicated Fundraising Manager Volunteer to help us raise funds and support our mission. If you have a flair for organizing impactful fundraising campaigns and running events, we'd love to have you on board. Together, let's create more moments of joy and transformation!

DONATION SORTING
Our team sorts donations into two categories: keep and toss. The ‘keep’ items are items we can distribute to those in need, and the ‘toss’ items are items we cannot distribute due to wear and tear or stains, we offer these as 'free play clothes' on Facebook. We strive to provide the best quality items to those who need them most.
SUPER SATURDAY CELEBRATIONS
As a volunteer, you'll be an essential part of the team, helping with setup, assisting with games and activities, and ensuring the children have a blast throughout the party. So, if you have a heart for kids and a passion for making their special day extra special, we invite you to be a part of our Super Saturday Celebrations volunteer team. Come spread joy and create lasting memories for our little ones, on the first Saturday of each quarter. Let's make this a celebration to remember!
TRANSPORTER MAGICIAN
If you have a pickup or other large vehicle, we need you! We frequently pick up donations from yard sales, consignment shops, and rummage sales. The pickup area includes Purcellville, Leesburg, Hamilton, Round Hill, Ashburn, and Sterling, within a 10-mile radius. We call our pick-up volunteers magicians because they make supplies for UpsideDown Moments magically appear! MONTHLY CLOTHING DRIVE
A new monthly drive endeavor in 2024!
Join UpsideDown Moments in reaching more youth in foster care and at-risk youth. Partnering with Floris United Methodist Church in Herndon, which has graciously offered to hold donation hours 8-12 on the second Sunday of each month. We need volunteers to help collect and load the donations into the vehicle they also are allowing us to borrow each month. Reach out to UpsideDown Moments and find out what you can do to help make a difference in the lives of those in need.
SEASONAL BLESSINGS VOLUNTEERS
Volunteer to help at our Free Shopping Events. We are looking for volunteers to help out as transporters, set up/tear down, cashiers, baggers, and counters.
Your support will help us ensure that the event runs smoothly and everyone has a great experience.
