Sunday Donation Sorting
Are you good at organizing and/or sorting? Do you have some free time on Wednesday afternoons?
Then join us for a hands-on volunteer day where we turn generous clothing donations into ready-to-use resources for children and youth in need. Volunteers will help sort through recent donations, selecting high-quality items to keep for distribution and setting aside pieces that can be redirected elsewhere. Together, we’ll ensure that every child we serve receives clean, well-fitting, and season-appropriate clothing—packed with care and dignity.
No special skills required—just a willingness to roll up your sleeves and make a difference!

UpsideDown Moments is partnering with Evergreen UMC in Leesburg to provide our SECOND FREE shopping event for our kiddos. Which means we also need a villiage to make it happen! Kids and caregivers will select backpacks, supplies and clothes for the first week of school!

KidzDay (Respite for Foster/Kinship Parents)
Respite evening for Foster Families.
UpsideDown Moments is offering caregivers a 3 hour block of childcare that includes crafts, games, activities, in a safe, fun, trauma-informed environment.
Childcare Support Volunteers (background checks and trauma informed session required).
Date: September 12th
Time: 3:00 - 6:00 PM (please pick children up promptly at 6PM)
Location: Floris UMC, located at 13600 Frying Pan Road Herndon.
Registration is now open and spots are limited. Please email becky@upsidedownmoments.org and state which county and agency you are fostering with, and we will send the link to register your child(ren)
