UpsideDown Moments was founded in March 2019 after my husband and I began training to become foster parents in the fall of 2018. Throughout the training process, I became aware of a significant gap in resources available to children entering foster care in Loudoun County. I knew there had to be a way to help make one of the hardest days in a child’s life a little less overwhelming. Good Bye 2025!! We closed out 2025 with a bang, thanks to the incredible support of our community, volunteers, and partners who helped us make a lasting impact on the lives of children in foster care, at-risk youth, and young adults transitioning to independence. As we step into 2026, we’re excited for the big accomplishments ahead—expanding programs, creating new opportunities, and continuing to ensure that every child and youth we serve feels seen, supported, and empowered.
