June UpsideDown Moments Newsletter

Hi all! This month’s newsletter will be short and sweet. June was a meaningful month of steady progress and continued impact for UpsideDown Moments. While summer brings a slower season for many of our programs, our mission never pauses. This month, we celebrated the generosity of our community through fundraising efforts and meaningful volunteer experiences. Thank you for your continued support and for helping us create brighter futures for those we serve!

Monthly Impact Statistics

  • 105 volunteer hours were generously contributed by our dedicated volunteers throughout the month. 1214 volunteer hours have been logged this year so far!

  • 2 Vehicles Empowering Hope (VEH) participants are receiving community support through fundraising efforts to help them obtain reliable transportation.

Driving Hope Through Community Support

Reliable transportation can be life-changing, opening the door to employment, education, healthcare, and independence. Through our Vehicles Empowering Hope (VEH) program, two incredible participants, Sophia and Adrianna, are working toward obtaining reliable vehicles with the support of their communities. VEH helps former foster youth and young adults overcome transportation barriers so they can build stable, independent futures.

Friends and supporters have launched GoFundMe campaigns to help them reach their goals. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings them one step closer to reliable transportation and new opportunities.

Thank you for helping us empower lives - one journey at a time.

Have a Safe and Joyful Summer!

Summer is a special time to slow down, spend time with loved ones, explore new places, and create meaningful memories. As you enjoy the season, remember to stay hydrated, protect yourself from the sun, practice water safety, and check in on children, young adults, families, and neighbors during especially hot days.

At UpsideDown Moments, we hope this summer brings plenty of joy, connection, and new experiences to the youth and families in our community. Wishing everyone a safe, healthy, and fun-filled season!
